Refer to community mental health teams, specialists, or counsellors
Discuss and prescribe medication if appropriate
Access funded counselling sessions through ACC (for trauma) or primary mental health programmes.
You may be able to request your GP refer to your preferred Psychologist services
If not registered with a GP, they can call Healthline (0800 611 116) for advice on next steps or to find a local doctor.
